Details
The round Cutting Board is the perfect size for almost all cutting in the everyday. At the same time, it can be used as a fine serving plate due to its elegant round form. The small curve highlights the quality in the solid piece of wood and gives the board an extra elegant function. It can stand upright on the countertop, when not in use, and serve as a decorative element of the home.
Description
The Section products are each a visual representation of the transformation a piece of wood goes through, providing an insight into the evolution from raw to refined product. Each working process affects the shape and expression of the material, with the many layers of woodgrains becoming more and more apparent. All products in the Section line therefore show very different expressions according to the specific piece of wood. By cutting away parts of the wood, we not only highlight the unique materials but also give them form and purpose.

Brand
Form + Refine
Form & Refine was founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen– based on the common vision of creating a value-driven design brand that explores materials and preserves our earth and craft cultures through an exceptional design philosophy. They also believe in making a positive social impact and preserving crafts by working with cooperatives and smaller workshops to create fair and respectful partnerships. Among others, they support a cooperative of alpaca farmers in the highlands of Bolivia through the art of weaving and ancient wisdom.
