Description
"We wanted to make a pinboard with a small shelf, something which is not often included on such objects but would be useful for storing small items like needles and pens. We were looking for a warm and soft look where the fabric should match the warmness of the oak. The frame of the pinboard has a large radius on the back which lifts it from the wall with a soft shadow." – Herman Studio

Brand
Form + Refine
Form & Refine was founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen– based on the common vision of creating a value-driven design brand that explores materials and preserves our earth and craft cultures through an exceptional design philosophy. They also believe in making a positive social impact and preserving crafts by working with cooperatives and smaller workshops to create fair and respectful partnerships. Among others, they support a cooperative of alpaca farmers in the highlands of Bolivia through the art of weaving and ancient wisdom.
