Design House Stockholm consider themselves a publishing house of sorts, inspiring designers to bring forth their own ideas to the collective rather than seeking out specific products. Their mission is to bring the best in Scandinavian design to the forefront with designers from all over the world. Their focus on developing great products started when they met Harri Koskinen, an unknown student in Helsinki, who had an amazing idea— the Block Lamp—which ultimately became a worldwide success.
