Normann Copenhagen

Redefining Danish Design with a Bold Twist

Jan Anderson and Poul Madsen pushed the creative boundaries when they founded Normann Copenhagen in 1999. The studio emerged from a shared passion for design and a vision that started in the small town in Denmark’s Northeast Zealand where Anderson and Madsen first met. Their love for innovation drove the brand, challenging norms while still paying homage to traditional Danish design.

“Make the ordinary extraordinary.” These words form the basis of the Normann Copenhagen mission, making it clear that each piece issued from the studio’s doors sets out to break new ground in the design world. Introducing iconic creations from established designers and exciting pieces from fresh, up-and-coming talents. The rich legacy of Danish design heritage is safe in the pioneering hands of Normann Copenhagen and their team of designers, manufacturers, and artisans.
