Details
This is an archetypical chair by Form & Refine – a chair made completely out of wood. The extraordinarily shaped seat inspired by the human body supports a good comfort. In addition, the solid organically shaped backrest gives the chair a minimalistic and personal feature. Strong, solid legs combined with the veneer seat add to the surprising lightness and stunning visual sharpness of the chair. The exquisite backrest is made out of one solid piece of wood and steam bent from the front and back. There are no visible screws. You can stack up to five chairs. The chair is made to fit all desires – hospitality, office or private use. It is made of local certified wood.

Brand
Form + Refine
Form & Refine was founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen– based on the common vision of creating a value-driven design brand that explores materials and preserves our earth and craft cultures through an exceptional design philosophy. They also believe in making a positive social impact and preserving crafts by working with cooperatives and smaller workshops to create fair and respectful partnerships. Among others, they support a cooperative of alpaca farmers in the highlands of Bolivia through the art of weaving and ancient wisdom.
