Details
The Crooked from Normann Copenhagen brings the brand’s clear Scandinavian perspective to the candleholder category. Designed by Uffe Buchard in 2024, it balances a refined silhouette with practical proportions for contemporary residential, hospitality, and contract interiors. Its material composition centers on Bronzed brass. Crooked Candlestick is crafted from aluminum or brass using a sand-casting technique. The candlestick is then polished and the aluminum version painted, while the brass version is bronzed. Crooked comes in two variants for either one candle or two candles, both available in Yellow, Grey, Warm Grey or Bronze. The Crooked creates a small focal point for shelves, dining tables, and consoles, bringing warm light and sculptural detail to the surrounding setting. The available configurations provide useful flexibility when adapting the design to different room scales and functional needs. Its compact scale makes it easy to use alone or combine in a layered arrangement for a more atmospheric effect.
