Brand Spotlight: Warm Nordic

A masterpiece does not belong in hiding. That’s the spirit behind the Warm Nordic vision. The company, founded by Frantz Longhi, aspires to bring iconic designs out of the shadows, pulling them from the auction house into the modern family home where Nordic warmth can glow all the stronger.

A Love

Discovering the public’s love for iconic 1950s and 1960s designs, Frantz Longhi saw a market for the genius of designers like Hans Olsen, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen, Hans Agne-Jakobsson, and Knud Færch. Some of their pieces—often overlooked in the ever-changing world of design—needed a second life. And Frantz Longhi was prepared to breathe that new life into designs that helped shape an era.

Working closely with the descendants of these designers, Longhi and the Warm Nordic team now produce updated and refreshed iterations of unique furniture pieces that capture and engage contemporary design enthusiasts.

Now approachable and produced for the modern age, designs from masters of their time will live on for generations to come.

Nordic Warmth

Though the idea of both Nordic and Scandinavian design often encompasses aesthetics from five countries, each with their own unique signature, the essence of Nordic, and Scandinavian design as a whole, is deeply rooted in a refined simplicity made poignant and delightful by creative craftsmanship and nature-inspired materials.

Nordic warmth comes from ethically sourced wood, gently shaped silhouettes, masterfully finished surfaces, lush fabrics, and inviting clarity in both form and function. Additionally, the Scandinavian tradition of sustainability continues with the Warm Nordic legacy. Whether it is using only European wood for all products crafted in their Denmark-based studios, their usage of green energy, or their commitment to durable furniture that actively combats throw-away culture, Warm Nordic upholds the standards that have made Scandinavian furnishings a multi-generational tradition.
