ARTLESS THN .75 is a 18" by 18" nightstand with a height of 17". It took us a while, many years in fact, to develop a tall nightstand and then we did this version and went back to a low nightstand. We tend to keep things low to the ground and this is perfect for low beds. We like the proportions and we like the material and color contrast. The open space acts as a shelf, thus a functional component as well.
The minimalist design of the THN line by ARTLESS is expressed fully with the solid Walnut case holding a contrasting lacquered finished drawer. The drawer is designed to be showcased by being proportioned to be two thirds of the piece. The visual appeal is then enhanced with an open see through space.

For some designers, a love of architecture is learned at school or within the shadow of an eye-opening structure. But for designer Alejandro Artigas, it courses through his blood. Born in Mexico City to a family of architects, it’s no wonder he began his career at the prestigious Architectural Association in London, before graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from The Southern California Institute of Architecture, SCI-Arc, in Los Angeles. He also holds a Masters degree in Advanced Architectural Design from The Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at Columbia University, GSAPP. He is now based in Los Angeles as a lead designer and founder at ARTLESS Corporation, an architecture and design practice.
