ARTLESS SQG Tables started as a glass top variation of the SQ Tables. While continuing the use of 2” solid wood, the success of this line has clearly eclipsed the original SQ Tables. The base's inverted pedestal form allows for the display of objects and books, while the glass top acts as a floating lid. The base's heaviness and solidity resembles a minimalist sculpture, while the glass extends out protecting the base. ARTLESS SQG Tables are available in two sizes and in three woods; they all have the same height of 14”. The wood choices are Black Walnut and White Oak, both of which are finished with an oil rub. ARTLESS Graphite Oak is solid Oak with a proprietary stain, sealed in a satin finish.

For some designers, a love of architecture is learned at school or within the shadow of an eye-opening structure. But for designer Alejandro Artigas, it courses through his blood. Born in Mexico City to a family of architects, it’s no wonder he began his career at the prestigious Architectural Association in London, before graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from The Southern California Institute of Architecture, SCI-Arc, in Los Angeles. He also holds a Masters degree in Advanced Architectural Design from The Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at Columbia University, GSAPP. He is now based in Los Angeles as a lead designer and founder at ARTLESS Corporation, an architecture and design practice.
