Nanna Ditzel designed the original Hanging Egg Chair in 1959, and this groundbreaking design has enjoyed worldwide critical acclaim ever since. This distinctive chair is both a conversation piece and a delightful place to unwind, and the AluRattan™ makes it ultra-durable and maintenance-free.
While the egg chair can be installed from a ceiling joist or rafter, some prefer to be able to move the chair within a room. The stand provides an elegant, arching design with the versatility to adjust the egg chair's positioning.
