The Astep Model 2065 Pendant Light is an iconic example of Italian modern lighting, known for its innovative materials and softly diffused illumination. The design features two joined saucer-shaped diffusers crafted from opaline methacrylate, forming a wide, disc-like silhouette that appears to float effortlessly in space. Suspended from a slender aluminum canopy, the lightweight material and clean geometry create an elegant pendant that feels both architectural and visually airy. Methacrylate—chosen by Sarfatti as an alternative to traditional glass—offers durability while allowing light to disperse evenly through the shade. The Model 2065 is illuminated by five dimmable E12 LED bulbs, which work together to produce approximately 2350 lumens of warm 2700K light.
