The Gräshoppa Floor Lamp is one of Greta M. Grossman's most iconic lighting designs, instantly recognizable for its angled tripod base, elongated conical shade, and poised, almost animated silhouette. Designed for reading corners, living rooms, bedrooms, offices, and hospitality settings, it delivers focused light with a sculptural presence that remains elegant from every angle. First produced in 1947, the Gräshoppa reflects Grossman's distinctive ability to combine playful modernism with precise functionality. The tilted stand gives the lamp its characteristic sense of movement, while the rotating shade allows light to be directed where it is needed. GUBI's reissue preserves the original proportions and expressive stance while refining the construction for contemporary interiors. Lightweight and easy to place, the Gräshoppa Floor Lamp works well beside lounge chairs, desks, beds, and sofas where adjustable illumination is useful. Available in Alabaster White Glossy, Walnut Brown Glossy, or Black Glossy shade finishes, the lamp uses an E12 bulb and is intended for indoor use. Ships in 8-10 weeks.
