The L&G Equalizer 2 Piece showed up in 2016 when Dylan Davis and Jean Lee collaborated with their friend John Hogan on what they called "playful austerity" - basically making minimalist lighting that doesn't feel cold or boring. The setup uses anodized aluminum tubing as both the structure and the light source holder, with glass globes hanging at the ends. You get two pendants per set that can be configured however your space needs - symmetrical over a dining table, asymmetrical in a corner, flanking a bed, whatever works. The solid tubing suspension keeps everything clean and architectural instead of using cables or cords that clutter the look. Comes with a 12-inch round canopy that mounts to your ceiling, and the drop length is variable starting at 36 inches minimum so you can adjust based on ceiling height. The anodized aluminum finishes give you options: Olive, Bronze, Black, or Gold depending on whether you want warm or cool tones. The glass globes come in translucent colors - Smokey Green, Cream, Grey, Bronze, or Chameleon if you want something that shifts with the light. Each globe puts out 550 lumens at 2700K, so you're getting warm ambient light instead of harsh brightness. The fixture uses GY 6.35 bi-pin bulbs (5 watts, 24 volts, rated for 30,000 hours), and dimming comes standard so you can dial brightness up or down throughout the day. UL certification is available on request, and the whole thing's designed to work with most international electrical systems. At roughly 10-12 week lead time, these are made-to-order rather than sitting on shelves waiting to ship.
