Hans J. Wegner designed the CH446 Footstool in 1958 as a companion to the CH401 Lounge Chair. A generously upholstered cushion appears to float above slender tubular stainless-steel legs, giving the design a light expression despite its solid interior frame. Its clean geometry and supportive comfort also make it an ideal partner for Wegner’s Wing and Oculus lounge chairs. Whether used as a footrest or an occasional seat, the CH446 brings a polished, enduring finish to a modern lounge setting.
