The matte polish of the Atlantis series is equipped with a unique elctro chemical surface treatment that keeps the stainless steel looking like new. The stainless steel cast handles are designed for comfort and to minimize heat distribution. All Demeyere products are suitable for use in the oven or for use on gas, electric or ceramic cook surfaces. All Atlantis fry pans, conic sauté pans, simmering pots, and woks are engineered with their specific function in mind. Demeyere builds these pieces using 7 layer technology built around a stainless steel and aluminum core. The 7 layers run throughout the bottom of each piece and up through the sides for even heat distribution. The thickness of the material is adjusted for the unique function of the piece.
