Details
Designed by Nikari founder, Kari Virtanen, the Arkitecture Low Cabinet features solid wood doors which showcase the natural, unique grain of the ash, oak, or birch. Perfect for entryways, bedrooms, living rooms, or even dining rooms, the Arkitecture Low Cabinet furnishes any space with the perfect storage solution. Sustainability and delicate Finnish craftsmanship are at the heart of Nikari’s high standards in design. High quality, long lasting, and recyclable pieces are crafted at Nikari’s Finland workshop and design studio, and shipped worldwide. In true Nikari fashion, the Arkitecture series was designed to showcase nature; the personality and cast of the wood, the dynamic form, and innate function. Thus, with that principle in mind, a series of scarce and streamlined pieces designed to bring simplicity to the modern home was born.

Nikari
Nestled deep in the forests of Fiskars village in south-west Finland is the design studio of Nikari. The studio and workshop is situated on Nikkarinkoski river, flanked by trees that are often snow covered. It’s this picturesque, almost storybook quality that seems fitting for a design house that have a deep commitment to nature and traditional craftsmanship. You’ll find deep Scandinavian roots at the heart of every piece, with a modern twist for contemporary homes. The wood Nikari uses is mainly supplied by a neighborhood sawmill where the timber comes mostly from Northern European forests tended with the principles of sustainability and biodiversity.
