It may patina over time as it reacts to grease, colorants, changes in air humidity, and water. This patina is part of the beauty of untreated oak furniture and will create a lasting and loved piece. If you prefer a consistent finish over time, you may apply a furniture soap or oil. Please note, the wood will change color slightly when applying soap or oil.
