Description

Designed in 1954, the Nagasaki Dining Chair is a career-defining piece for designer Mathieu Matégot. Made from perforated sheet metal known as Rigitulle, the Nagasaki Dining Chair is one of only a few three-legged chair designs. Its curved seat and backrest and thin legs give the Nagasaki Dining Chair a unique lightness and movement that create one of the most distinctive silhouettes. Pair the Nagasaki Dining Chair with the Gubi Dining Table and Nagasaki Stool for a crisp, modern dining set.

Founded in 1967, GUBI has spent the past five decades shining a fresh light on more than a hundred years of design icons and history. Focusing on rejuvenating timeless designs and creating tomorrow’s classics, GUBI has influenced the modern design industry and collaborated with both celebrated and up-and-coming designers from around the world.
