The Audo Copenhagen Ready Dining Chair takes inspiration from classic cantilevered designs and pushes form-pressing techniques to create something that genuinely looks like the seat and backrest are suspended in mid-air. Designed by Matias Møllenbach and Nick Rasmussen, this chair resulted from a comprehensive study of what's possible with molded plywood - the sweeping curves and seamless silhouette aren't just aesthetic choices, they're engineering solutions that create both visual lightness and structural strength. Available in FSC-certified oak veneer with natural oak, red-stained oak, or black finishes, you can get it with an upholstered seat in fabrics like Audo Bouclé, Hallingdal wool, or Dakar leather, or keep it all wood for a cleaner look. At 18.7 inches wide, 30.7 inches high, and 19.7 inches deep with a 19-inch seat height, it's perfectly sized for dining tables while remaining comfortable enough for long dinners and conversations without people shifting around constantly.

Audo Copenhagen was formed by uniting MENU, by Lassen, and The Audo, creating a brand that draws from a century of Danish design tradition while working with contemporary designers like Matias Møllenbach and Nick Rasmussen. Møllenbach, a graduate of Central Saint Martins and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, established his studio in 2018 to create timeless objects through collaboration with skilled artisans. Rasmussen, who trained as an architect before completing a master's in furniture design, runs Luddo Studios from Copenhagen, consulting on product development and design projects globally. Their collaboration on the Ready Chair reflects Audo's commitment to working with designers who explore the boundaries of materials and techniques, resulting in furniture that's both functionally sound and visually compelling while maintaining FSC certification and sustainable practices.
