Coffee Tables We Actually Have at HORNE

Modern Coffee tables. Yep, that's basically half of what people ask me about when they come in. The other half is "where's your bathroom?" but that's neither here nor there.

We work with these brands - Woud, Audo Copenhagen, RS Barcelona, Ferm Living. Some are easier to pronounce than others. The Copenhagen one trips me up sometimes, not gonna lie.

Scandinavian Whatever

Everyone's obsessed with Scandinavian design lately. It's like... minimalism but make it cozy? I don't know. Woud definitely fits that vibe. Their tables are simple but not in a boring IKEA way. More like, your design-savvy friend would own one.

Audo Copenhagen makes these weird sculptural things that somehow work as Coffee tables. Some are round coffee tables, some are more geometric - honestly depends on what mood their designers were in that day. I sold one last week to this couple who couldn't agree on anything else in their living room. Go figure.

The Statement Pieces

RS Barcelona is... interesting. They made those ping pong tables that everyone wanted a few years back. Now they make regular furniture too. Well, "regular" is relative. Nothing about them is exactly normal.

Gubi does this retro thing that actually looks good. These are definitely designer coffee tables - not like when you try to recreate a vintage look and it just looks cheap.

What's Selling Right Now

The Woud Level table is popular. Two tiers, which is handy I guess? I like it because it gives you somewhere to hide your mess underneath.

That Androgyne table from Audo - honestly, I can't even describe it properly. Looks like something from a art gallery but people actually buy it. Probably the most Instagram-worthy table we have.

RS Barcelona has this You and Me table that's actually pretty normal looking. For them. Still costs a fortune though.

The Ferm Living marble one is nice if you're into that whole marble thing. Heavy as hell. Honestly, we've got some really beautiful coffee tables in stock right now - way nicer than what most people expect to find. We had to get three guys to move the display model.

Why HORNE?

Look, we could sell you furniture online like everyone else. But then you'd be stuck if something doesn't work out. Plus, when people shop coffee tables on sale online, half the time they end up with something that looks nothing like the photos. At least here you can sit on it first. Test the height. See if it fits your space.

I've been to some of these factories. Cool trips, terrible coffee though. Gives you perspective on why things cost what they cost.

Putting It Together

Coffee tables don't exist alone. Obviously. You need chairs and sofas and all that. We have those too. Sometimes people buy a coffee table first, sometimes last. No real pattern to it.

Word of advice? Measure twice, buy once. Or whatever that saying is. I've seen too many people buy a table that's either way too big or comically small. Both are awkward.

Also, kids will climb on whatever you buy. Just accept it now. Save yourself the stress.
