Bestlite lamps have a rich and dynamic design history. Robert Dudley Best created the lamps while studying to be an industrial designer in Paris and Dusseldorf. The lamp later became the first example of Bauhaus work in the UK. It was later put into production and garnered great fame and respect as a modern lighting fixture. Today, Gubi manufactures the lamp to the exact original specifications of Robert’s original design.
