ARTLESS LRG Sofas are our interpretation of what contemporary seating should be. We liked the Italian sofas but they seemed to slick. We designed the LRG and knew a solid wood wrap around base was a must. ARTLESS designs with all four sides in mind, and we needed a sofa with a compelling back and wood cradles the sofa so nicely. The LRG is full of comfort with its down proof ticking cushion and pillows, we find it immersive. While the back and sides create a striking figure.
All ARTLESS LRG individually bench built in Los Angeles. Kiln-dried hardwood frame with double dowel joinery and corner blocks, sinuous wire springs; down proof ticking with Trillium (down alternative).

Alejandro Artigas
For some designers, a love of architecture is learned at school or within the shadow of an eye-opening structure. But for designer Alejandro Artigas, it courses through his blood. Born in Mexico City to a family of architects, it’s no wonder he began his career at the prestigious Architectural Association in London, before graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from The Southern California Institute of Architecture, SCI-Arc, in Los Angeles. He also holds a Masters degree in Advanced Architectural Design from The Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at Columbia University, GSAPP. He is now based in Los Angeles as a lead designer and founder at ARTLESS Corporation, an architecture and design practice.
