Designed by Kenneth Grange, the Type 1228 is a brand new addition to the Anglepoise range. When turned off, the colorful shades are the perfect pop of color for your desk or workstation. Then with the flip of a switch, the bulb illuminates the double layer polycarbonate shade as it glows making it almost a completely different color. The transformation is subtle in the case of the orange, green, white and blue lamps. The graphite shade transforms more dramatically to a light grey color. Made with aluminum arms and a heavily weighted base for extra stability. Available in five colors (green, orange, blue, white & graphite). With its broad range of movement and classic looks it will suit a wide range of uses from reading in your arm chair to working at your desk. Perfect in either the home or the office. Accepts 60 watt max bulb.
