Whimsical, engaging, beautiful and thought provoking: all words we would use to describe both the artist and her work. Clare Goddard hails from Helsinki, Finland and produces precious pieces of art using found ephemera and used tea bags. This collage was made using pieces of patterned cardboard, a page from a phonebook and test copies from a Braille printing facility. The pieces are sewn together with red and white string. Clare lives beside a Braille printing factory from which she procured the Braille paper.
