In 2006, Coca-Cola came to Emeco with a proposal. Their recycling plant in Spartanburg South Carolina was brand new and processing thousands of plastic bottles a day and they were looking for ways to show the value of recycled plastic to encourage others to recycle.

From this collaboration came this incredible chair made from at least 111 recycled plastic bottles. The new chair is the strongest, and most beautiful Emeco can make. They've turned something you throw away into something you want and can keep for a long, long time. Made form 65% recycled PET (plastic bottles) and 35% pigment, glass fiber and fire inhibitor. Can be used outdoors too!
